Mr. Tetsushi Sasago’s principal focus is to drive NTT Com Asia and HKNet’s business direction and the overall strategic planning and development of the companies. Mr. Sasago joined the company in 2009 as the Executive Vice President of the Data Management and Strategic Planning Division and was promoted to his current position in 2011. He leads both the Corporate Planning and Global Solution Divisions, developing the companies’ long-term blueprints and providing comprehensive ICT solutions for their customers.

Mr. Sasago has extensive experience in different functional areas of the group. His portfolio encompasses products and services, engineering technology, sales and marketing policy and procedures, business directions, and database management. He served as the Assistant Manager of the reorganisation office at NTT Corporation starting in 1997. In that capacity, Mr. Sasago worked to improve corporate governance and organisational structure, and also to reorganise NTT.

In 1999, Mr. Sasago was transferred to the Corporate Planning Department of NTT Communication, where he was tasked with developing corporate strategy and establishing e-business. In 2003, he was appointed Manager of the Global Business Division, responsible for developing the global business arm of NTT Communications.

Mr. Sasago holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Tokyo in Japan and an MBA from Cornell University in the US.
