 What is HKNet Internet Roaming?
HKNet subscribers who are travelling overseas are now able to access the Internet just as in Hong Kong, and bypass costly IDD charges, using the same HKNet user IDs and passwords!
HKNet is also the first ISP to offer broadband Internet roaming. Please click here for more details.
 
  What are its advantages?
By calling a local number to access HKNet while you are in another part of the world, you no longer need to pay IDD charges or obtain an account from local ISPs there. No additional software is required and no separate accounts need to be created.
 
  What are the charges for the service?
Activation Fee (one-time): HK$0
Monthly Fee: HK$0
Usage Charge** USA / Canada : HK$40/hour (HK$0.67/minute)
                         Rest of the world : HK$60/hour (HK$1.00 / minute)  
Access Charge (per connection) HK$2.50

** There is no PNETS charges required but this charge does not include any local telephone charges or surcharges or taxes for that local region.
All charges will be billed on your regular HKNet statement.
 
  How do I use this service?
One world-class Internet roaming suppliers, iPass, are now at your service. Follow these simple steps.
 
1 First, you must be a HKNet Dial Up or Residential Broadband subscriber.
 
2 Our Internet roaming suppliers' services cover more than 14,000 POPs (Point of Presence) in 150 countries, but if you are not sure whether local numbers are supported in your region, click your choice of roaming supplier to check as below:
