iPass Dial Up Roaming Setup Guide for HKNet

Minimum Requirements :
  • 2.0 MB free disk space
  • 486/25 or faster CPU
  • 8MB RAM
  • Microsoft TCP/IP protocol installed
  • Microsoft Dial Up Networking (DUN) installed
  • OS with WINDOWS 95, WINDOWS 98, WINDOWS NT, WINDOWS 2000 or WINDOWS ME
  • Modem installed with Dial Up Networking

 To install the iPassConnect software:

1. Download iPassConnect from http://www.hknet.com/en/roaming.php
2. Save the file to a specific directory.
3. Double-click the executable file.
4. Follow the directions on the screen.

To begin configuration, launch iPassConnect by double-clicking the iPass icon on your desktop. Please note that the screen captures below may be different on your computer.


Setting your User Information:
  1. From the iPassConnect Menu bar, select Options >User Info.



  2. In the fields provided, fill in your username and domain (i.e., for user@hknet.com, user is the username and hknet.com is the domain name).




  3. Click OK.

  4. From the iPassConnect Menu bar, select Options>Settings.



  5. Select the Dialup tab.


  6. From the Modem drop-down list, select the correct modem.


  7. Click OK.


  8. Select your location from the Phone Book Window and Click Connect.
